Kitchen Renovation in Drumm Crescent, Edinburgh

We are excited to share our recent kitchen renovation project at Drumm Crescent, Edinburgh. This project exemplifies state-of-the-art spray painting techniques and our meticulous attention to detail.

The renovation began with the dismantling of all doors, drawers, and plinths from the kitchen cabinets. Each surface was carefully sanded and degreased, and necessary repairs were made to ensure a pristine base for painting. We ensured the entire area was protected with extensive masking to safeguard walls, floors, and work surfaces while maintaining proper ventilation. In our dedicated workshop, we applied a durable two-pack primer followed by two coats of two-pack top coat paint for a robust and flawless finish. The client selected the sophisticated ‘Purbeck Stone’ matte finish by Farrow & Ball, which modernised the cabinets with a sleek, contemporary look.

Joinery Work

We removed the existing tiles above the worktops and prepared the underlying walls for new finishes. The old electric hob and worktops were disconnected and removed to make way for new installations. Trendy new laminate worktops were installed along with a new electric hob, and we reinstalled the existing sink and tap. New pelmets were added above the cabinets to enhance their elegance and a new splashback was fitted to protect the space behind the worktops. Additionally, we updated the kitchen with new cabinet door handles that complement the renovated cabinetry’s refined aesthetic.

Internal UPVC Window Frames

The internal UPVC window frame, along with the tiling above the window, was meticulously prepared and resprayed to not only add a touch of elegance, but also to harmonise with the kitchen’s overall aesthetic.

This comprehensive renovation not only refreshed the kitchen space, but also tailored it to the client’s taste and functional needs. The project blends durability with style, ensuring that the new kitchen will be enjoyed and cherished for years to come.
