Refurbishment of an Old Wooden Kitchen in Blackford, Edinburgh

This particular kitchen required more extensive sanding than typical laminate kitchens due to its age. We repaired cavities and mouldings to preserve the original aesthetics. The replacement of old handles with new gold ones significantly enhanced the overall appearance. The transformation was so remarkable that the customer couldn’t believe their 30-year-old kitchen could look brand new.

Granite Effect on Kitchen Worktops

The worktops in this kitchen posed a greater challenge when compared to modern laminate countertops. We needed to meticulously sand the wooden strips on the edgings and all the joints to ensure a seamless finish. After applying a granite effect and several protective layers, the worktops looked as though they were crafted from solid granite. The result was simply stunning—WOW!
